Lets talk about some all-time favorite beauty products that I always have with me. Each of these were recommended to me by a friend of family member and it was love at first use. These products also won’t break the bank.

NIVEA CremeI have been using this creme since I was born. My grandma always told me if I use NIVEA Creme, I will always look young. Developed in europe - it has been around since 1911. The thick texture is soothing on sun kissed skin and even lips. It has been the only product that cures rough, wind blown skin after a day on the mountain, beach or after surfing. A large tin is around $9 and lasts for months.

Palmer’s COCOA BUTTER FORMULAIntroduced to me by an old friend and roommate from Whistler, this is an excellent drug store find. Great all over body lotion any day or after getting a bit of sun. It also helps protect against stretch marks and so far so good! The smell of the cocoa is authentic as they use real oils - not like other products on the market that use an artificial scent that is so strong it is almost nauseating. Their new squeeze bottle is perfect for traveling ladies - no mess from the pump. $6 at drugstores.

True Blue Spa - Malibu Waves SprayAs a girl trying to save for the bigger things in life these days it helps when you find products like this one that mimic the more expensive versions. Previously a die hard Bumble & Bumble Sea Salt Spray fan, my bestie out in Ontario discovered this great product from Bath & Body Works. It adds a beautiful texture to the finest hair - like mine. You can’t overdoes on it either, so the more the better to create texture for beautifully set curls or a tossed just-came-out-of-the-ocean look. Great for Vancouver hair as well because of the large amount of rain we receive. It also boasts an amazing coconut scent so the beach is always with you. $12 at Bath & Body Works.

Doing some organization of my iPhoto library found these darling photos of one of my best friends, Beth Rome. She is just the prettiest; always looking well to do and classic. Taken well over a year ago just before a friends special birthday party. It is inspiring me to adventure and experiment more with balloons in photos.

Symbolizing that spring has finally sprung here in Vancouver. They have migrated back to Canada after our long, wet winter on the west coast and I am thankful for their return. So far, each day, since capturing this little guy has be warm. We can always relay on nature to tell us the true happenings in our environment.  View high resolution

3 weeks until I see them live again for the 3rd time. Not sure what the show will be like at Rogers Arena in comparison to Wembley Stadium, London or the Gorge, WA - however I just could not miss this!

Few more photos as of recent. I wish I had more to post but life has been so crazy that there has been limited time for me to actually take any or learn much more about shooting. Have got to make for time for it this spring.

Every one of us has events in our lives that change who we are. Those events can become a negative or positive influence, depending on whether we choose to use them as a engines for propulsion or excuses for defeat.
